LogBase
Geological log library software
LogBase is an application created for geological log libraries that
includes a powerful well log search engine that allows users to find well logs by
using any combination of the following

- State and County
- Operator name
- Lease name
- Field name
- Location (Township, Range & Section where applicable)
- Well depth and completion date
- UTM Northing & Easting (using a
graphical map)
It also allows geological log libraries to track charges that
should be applied to library members for
Other features of LogBase include:
- Utilization of
barcodes for geological log check-in/check-out
- Dynamic log status reporting (the status of the log depends on
the member requesting the log status)
- Uses
MS SQL Server for large database manageability
(for
smaller databases,
MSDE - or even
MS Access may be used)
eLogBase is the web interface to LogBase. The table below
