Geological log library software

LogBase is an application created for geological log libraries that includes a powerful well log search engine that allows users to find well logs by using any combination of the following filters: [read more...]

• Operator name
• Lease name
• Field name
• Location (Township, Range & Section where applicable)
• Well depth and completion date
• UTM Northing & Easting (using a graphical map)

It also allows geological log libraries to track charges that should be applied to library members for

Other features of LogBase include:

• Utilization of barcodes for geological log check-in/check-out
• Dynamic log status reporting (the status of the log depends on the member requesting the log status)
• Uses MS SQL Server for large database manageability
  (for smaller databases, MSDE - or even MS Access may be used)
